Vinton Hayworth

Vinton Hayworth (June 4, 1906, Washington D.C. - May 21, 1970, Van Nuys, Los Angeles County, California), was an American actor who began in weasely and milquetoast roles and aged into dignified character parts. He appeared in Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Gunsmoke, Perry Mason, Dennis the Menace, Petticoat Junction, Hazel, The Munsters, Green Acres (1965), I Dream of Jeannie (1965 -- got the recurring role of General Schaeffer later in the series), and Dick Tracy (1967).
