Plot A short documentary film that provides an insight into the age-old process of making maple syrup from the sap extracted from maple trees, as practiced by four old men in the slumbering Midwestern American town of Galien. Through candid interviews and behind-the-scenes footage of the syrup being made using unique improvised methods, A Dying Art takes viewers into the fast-disappearing world of the sugar shack.
