| Plot | One fateful night, Marla, a worn-out single mother, makes a grisly confession that changes the lives of everyone around her. A Lion's Tale tells parallel stories about a mother seeking forgiveness for her sin and the violent, bullying incident leading up to her confession. A struggling waitress, Marla lives a stinted life in a small town with her son, Davis (Xavier Gould). Her world takes a crashing turn when a bullying incident gets out of hand and Davis' bully ends up dead. She seeks refuge and forgiveness from Father Holden for the murder of the bully who's tormented her son.
