|Plot||A sandwich, made from pheasant meat, became a symbol for the wartime generosity of the community of Aberdeen, South Dakota During World War II. This film documents the volunteers working to preserve this legacy and paints a picture of what Aberdeen was like during WWII despite it being no where near the war effort. The pheasant sandwich was served to over 500,000 troops from 1943 to 1946.
