Plot 'A Portrait of Louise' is a study of Louise Mills, an 87-year-old energetic and charismatic muse of fashion, music and the performing arts in her hometown of Bainbridge island Washington. With a devotion to costumery and community theater, Louise inspired and co-founded two successful amateur theater companies, as well as producing, promoting and presenting numerous events that have helped kindle a vibrant performing arts community. By employing her friendly persuasions, she has energized several generations of amateur performers to take the stage and express their latent artistry.
