|Plot||A student thesis project that explores the philosophical question, 'What if life is just a dream?' Composed of four vignettes that are filmed in four different styles/film concepts, the story progresses from 'Under-childhood' to old age, beginning each section with the main character waking up and ending with the character's presumed demise. A Skeptic's Awake (a title which combines a Bach piece used in the film and the idea of philosophical skepticism), follows a character named Kyle as he, gazes through the sensory experienced that children have before memory, longs for a old love in college, fears he is part of a conspiracy in his late twenties, begs for money on the NYC subway in his forties, and ending with a Hitchcockian shot of old age.... search for A Skeptic's Awake on IMDb|
