Funded in part by Demand Media Studios, Inc., 'According to Us' is based on the vision of Boston-based independent filmmaker Laura Plummer, an outspoken feminist who is particularly concerned with the rights of women and girls worldwide. She was inspired to make this film after viewing Michael Apted's 'Up' series, which originated in 1960s Britain and focused largely on the male experience.
