|Plot||Told through two stories that shift back and forth between past and present, Thomas, a Helsinki doctor, and his young lover Adele, are both running from and racing towards a brutal murder. THOMAS is trapped in a suffocating life defined by a loveless marriage and a strict devotion to his medical research, but he suddenly finds himself reawakened as he is irresistibly drawn to a mysterious female patient who will not explain who she is or how she got the severe wounds on her body. He only knows her as ADELE, and though he quickly realizes that she is wanted by the police, Thomas can't stop himself from risking everything he has worked for just to have a flash of passion with her. Thomas commits to the affair but soon discovers a deeper web of betrayal that pervades his married and professional life. ADELE features an explosive structure that intercuts between the fast-paced affair in Helsinki and the consequences of the affair that unfold in reverse in Spain where Thomas and Adele find themselves pursued by the police. When the two stories finally collide, Thomas discovers that everything he understands about his marriage, Adele and himself is dead wrong.... search for Adele on IMDb|
