Consequently, drywall was imported from China to build many U.S. homes. After a couple of years, this type of drywall became tainted and problems began to arise in these new buildings; problems including, but not limited to: the scent of rotten egg, respiratory illnesses, nosebleeds, pet injuries, and even the corrosion of coils and other household metals.
