|Plot||On the outskirts of Tokyo there is a small, climate-controlled vault containing hundreds of artworks by Shinjo Ito, the most prolific Japanese Buddhist artist of the 21st century. Although experts regard these pieces as some of the best examples of Japanese art, the artist and his work had remained virtually unknown for almost 100 years. But everything would change in 2007, when a team was assembled to create the first international exhibition of his works.
