|Plot||A Cannes Grand Prize winner released in the USA with English subtitles. Mihailo, the son of the village gunsmith, is seduced by the wife of an elderly tavern-keeper. When the husband discovers them together, the wife kills him with a knife handed her by the boy. He runs away and broods about the killing for a few years, and has no interest in women. Back home, his girlfriend, Anika, waits for his return.
