Plot Gary Kreiger, 63, is the longest standing, hardest working doorman in the San Francisco bay area to date. In this short biographical documentary we are welcomed into a behind the scenes perspective on the life of a charismatic nightclub bouncer. Being one of the most recognizable figures within the bay area nightlife club scene, Gary lives up to his positive reputation. Gary is great at his job. He maintains order within his surroundings and greets each patron as if they were dear friends. The viewer is exposed to the hidden philosophy behind the system of the doorman. Thought, experience and patience (among other Zen like characteristics) factor into the success of nightly crowd maintenance. The club scene is a mysterious world of its own.
