Behind The Shroud takes the viewer on a journey into that shadowy world of spies and espionage. It resolves the mystery of a high-profile security risk case known in New Zealand as the Ahmed Zaoui case. It presents the viewer with new information revealed through interviews with key players, including two secret witnesses who each testified at the Inspector General's hearings on the case in Auckland 2007.
