|Plot||This short documentary chronicles the formation and early history of the Butler-Tarkington Neighborhood Association in Indianapolis, Indiana. Butler-Tarkington is one of Indianapolis' oldest neighborhoods and is named after Butler University and writer and former resident Booth Tarkington. The neighborhood on Indy's Near Northside experienced racial tension in the 1950s, which led to the formation of BTNA, thought to be the oldest organization of its kind in the country.
