Plot The film, Child Marriage, tells the story of Wube-Enat, a ten year old girl from an Amhara village, who is getting married to her fourteen year old husband Abebe. The film looks at the circumstances surrounding the engagement and the reasons why Wube-Enat's family consented to the marriage, even though she is below the legal age. We then hear the story of Semign - a married thirteen year old girl who is 8 months pregnant, we also we hear from Achuwache, a young woman who has suffered the devastating consequences of early child-bearing.
