|Plot||"Children are the emperors of our country" reads the Kim Il Sung motto blazoned across the wall in the entrance hall of the pupil's palace. This institution, situated in a pre-fab concrete estate on one of Pyongyang's deserted main roads, has been built for the education of some 5,000 students. This luxurious site comprises a modern, fully-equipped, 2,000-seat amphitheater, a swimming pool and endless communal rooms.
