|Three Steps North-black and white-1951-English Dubbed-Lloyd Bridges stars as Frank Keeler, a GI stationed in Italy who makes a small fortune selling army goods on the black market. Before he is arrested and sent to military prison, he buries the dirty money three steps north of a tree by a road marker. Once released, his plans to retrieve the cash meet with a variety of problems. After sneaking into Italy without a passport, he's robbed. Frank then finds that a soldier's cemetery now stands near the road were the treasure is buried, and a nosy caretaker, Pietro, starts asking a lot of questions. Frank locates his wartime sweetheart Elena, but she wants nothing to do with him after not hearing from him for years. Things get even more complicated as Frank becomes a murder suspect. Will Frank get the girl and the money, or be sent to prison for a murder he did not commit? Once parolled, Dave is determined to find the real criminals and clear his name. He finds employment with Gregory Warren, the very man who framed him. Meanwhile Dave discovers the witnesses that falsely testified against him are dead or missing. Dave meets Gregory Warren's sister Julie, and falls in love with her.
