Plot Nicky, 16, is an artist and musician. He is also one of Uganda's 2.2 million orphaned children. He lives, along with 180 other orphaned children, at St. Mary Kevin Orphanage. Each year, a team of volunteers, through the non-profit Change the Truth, visits the children. Incredible things happen for both the children and the volunteers. 'Cool Life' is the title of one of Nicky's songs, and the title of this short documentary. Through Nicky, we see the plight and resilience of these children, who have lost their families due to the war in the north, and to HIV/Aids.
