|Plot||Cosida a trets (Ridled with bullets) was filmed entirely in the Abu Shouk camp for Internally Displaced People (Darfur, Sudan) with the collaboration of Madina Ali, a child residing in the same camp. In addition to it, a series of portraits of girls from Catalonia and Darfur are part of the story. Worldwide, one billion children live in places affected by armed conflict. Currently, the impact of these conflicts on children is more brutal than ever. They are exposed to having to flee their homes, forced military recruitment, sexual assaults and, in many cases, they are killed. According to UNICEF, every decade, two million children are killed in wars, five million to ten million are disabled and psychologically traumatized.
